Twadl.com is a tool to let you post status updates on Twitter.com.

Features

Current features of Twadle include:
  • Create short links on the fly - just type a long URL, and it will be replaced with a shorter one, saving you valuable characters.
  • Live Tweet Preview lets you see what your Tweet will look like - short links and all - before you hit Update.
  • Track links - see how many people clicked on the link you posted. Great for learning how to write compelling headlines.
  • Attach Files to your Tweets. Right now you can attach images - but MP3s and more are coming!
  • Super Secret SEO Feature - upgrade your account with an Invite Code, and add extra features to Twadl. You won't be dissapointed.

Getting Started

To start using Twadl:
  • Sign Up on the account page. Enter your Twitter.com details, and choose a password for Twadl.
  • Update your status by visiting the front page, typing a message and then hitting "Update Status".
  • Reply to others by clicking on the name in front of a Tweet, or the '@' in a Tweet. You'll get the idea.
  • Upgrade Your Account from the Account page, with an invite code.

Other Stuff

Right, this is Beta, which means a number of things:
  • It's probably broken.
  • Tell me how you broke it. I'll buy a beer for every person who breaks it in a new way.
  • Half baked ideas about how to improve it also get a beer.

(NB: Tweets made through Twadl are accessible via a dedicated URL. This allows people to see your photos etc - but you shouldn't make private Tweets through this system.)
